A collective approach to improving health
In 2019, the Moreton Bay Children’s Partnership conducted early background research around the viability and desire for a place-based approach to children and family’s health across Moreton Bay.
Research revealed several gaps and overlaps in service delivery and collaborative efforts, highlighting opportunities to improve coordination and coherence between different initiatives.
In 2022, building on this research, The Health Alliance partnered with service provider, yourtown, to develop an evidence-based case for taking a collective approach to embed change at a system level. A subsequent draft Collective Impact model is being developed, evidencing the potential for improving health service delivery for children in their families across the Moreton Bay Region.
